God as Nothing

exploring an ancient theme in the Judaeo-Christian tradition: If 'God' is the answer to the question "Why does anything exist, rather than nothing?", then the word 'God' cannot be the name of something that exists. This exploration accompanies the publication of a book, God as Nothing, available at a discount from Writing Scotland here: https://www.abebooks.co.uk/God-Nothing-Why-exist-wrong-question/32191591728/bd

No longer will North American readers have to order copies of God as Nothing from a UK bookshop.

No longer will they have to pay hefty postage costs for transatlantic shipping.

The book has now come out in an American edition with Seabury Books in New York. So henceforth I will include links for the UK edition (Darton, Longman and Todd) and the American edition (Seabury) at the foot of each post.

The American title is different: Presence and Absence: God as ‘Nothing’ in Christian Tradition, but the contents of the new edition are just the same as those of God as Nothing, except for a handful of typos that have been fixed.

Looking forward to feedback from American readers.

Wishing you all joy in the risen Christ.

Here’s the link.
